Art biog

I am a self-taught artist and for the most part create figurative drawings and paintings on specific themes. My output spans from the 1980s to the present.

The materials used include wax crayons, acrylics and oils and the surfaces used include paper, wood, board, carpet, bedheads, chipboard, MDF, cloth and carpet.

I have been commissions by several London hospitals including:

Barnet, Central Middlesex, Homerton, Newham General, Northwick Park, St Georges and Whipps Cross.

My work is also held in private collections and by:

Amy Johnson Primary School (Sutton), Baumann Fabrics, Burton Civic Society, East Staffordshire District Council, Morgan Grenfell, Museum of London, National Secular Society, Paintings in Hospitals, Roundshaw Redevelopment Office, and St Faiths Primary School (Wandsworth).

I have exhibited in individual and group shows at:

Art Centres and Galleries, Cafes, Day Centres, Dentist, Empty shops and buildings, Hospitals, Houses of Parliament, Libraries, Museum, National Trust House, Offices, Park, Prison, Restaurants, Shopping Centre, Solicitors, Supermarket, and Theatres.
